 Plattsburgh Blues and Jazz is incredibly honored to present one of the top live performers in the Blues today, Ronnie Baker Brooks, on Friday, November 17th at Retro Live in Plattsburgh, NY.


Ronnie Baker Brooks is a Chicago guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, and a multiple Blues Music Award-winner and one of the most undeniably talented and electrifying bluesmen in the world today.   Ronnie Baker Brooks was born into Chicago blues royalty as the son of the legendary recording star Lonnie Brooks.  His most recent album, Blues in My DNA, has earned international acclaim and captured three Blues Music Awards this year: Contemporary Blues Artist of the Year (Male), Contemporary Blues Album of the Year, and Song of the Year for the title track.


We will be transforming Retro Live into a Chicago-style Blues Club, featuring a large stage, wrap-around balcony with seating, high-topped tables and chairs, a dance floor, a long bar, and ample space to see friends, old and new. Tickets are $ 20 in advance, available in person at Alpha Stereo (Route 3) and Lakeshore Candy (Skyway Plaza).
